Beware Old Navy Slaves! RHU Retail Slave Contributor Chelsey was wronged by Old Slavery in a hideously underhanded, bogusly bullshit, sneaky way.
About a week ago her manager told her she observed another employee letting his mom use his 20% discount. She asked our Wronged Retail Slave if she had seen anyone else giving their friends or family use of their discount. She said she had a suspicion that one or two people may have, but they always handed her the money or card themselves, so she could not say whether their purchases were gifts or discount abuse.
So Chelsey goes into work a few days ago and they fucking fire her! The Douchebag Manager accused her of being an accomplice to their crimes because Chelsey didn't tell her about her "suspicions" before she asked!!!!!!! WTF? Did they expect her to have magical psychic retail powers? Is she supposed to interrogate employee customers and report them based on a hunch or suspicion because they are shopping with family members? And then to hold her accountable for another Slave's fraud is completely unconscionable.
You SUCK ASS OLD NAVY!
They fucking set her up like no other. Chelsey told us, "I can get a new job, that is not the problem, but I have put my heart and soul into that job. And while they are firing me they start saying, 'Ohh yeah we were going to promote you,' Wow. I guess this is the adult world huh? People fuck you over right and left."
On top of that she can't collect unemployment right now because they said they fired her for "aiding" a criminal action! It is such bullshit and makes us want to vomit!
We wish you the best Chelsey is suing the fuck out these bastards. We hope you get a fucking bulldog type lawyer like Denny Crane (RHU's friend William Shatner from the TV show Boston Legal) to chew up Old Slavery's ass.

That's not even right. Wtf! But you know. Most companies can get away with firing you for anything. It's shady! Right in the p & p at work there's the fucking disclaimer stating they can terminate you for anything at anytime lol. I hate retail.

I got fired from Kay B Toys a few years ago for the same thing. During the Christmas season there was a promotion where anytime you spent $50 and had a coupon from Subway, you get a free gift card. The coupon came with the 35 cent cookies, so everyone started buying cookies and when a customer spent $50, they got a gift card. I told my manager, but she was doing it, I told the District Manager and he didn't care. 5 months later, I'm called on the phone by LP, and they asked me about it and why I didn't call them. Then they fired me. They just put a new manager in the store, who told me he wanted to bring in his old Assistant Manager, which I knew meant getting rid of his current Assistant Manager, me.

Fuck... this just happened to our Old Navy about two months back. This one little bitch snitched on three of our employees which made LP check the cameras and ended up firing 6 more of our really fun staff. One who went through the same exact story as Chelsey. Poor Niterz accidentally mentioned to that snitch that she knew about it and got fired for it too. I don't blame the managers. They're cool and laid back but they had to do their job for those LP bastards and the stupid company...

Oh yeah.. I also think its ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT that Old Navy has to keep a keen eye on our loyal and hardworking employees but let our usual trio of fat ghetto bitches walk in and out of our store on a weekly basis with bags of stolen stuff from our store, let the sensors flare up and tell them to have a nice day doing it.

Retail work is like that and it fucking sucks! I use to work for a family dollar for 2 years my manger left all the work on me so she could go home early everyday and each week still clocking un through the computer changing her hours.I ran the store and everyone assumed i was the manager, i did everything by myself i mean unloding trucks running registers and being in the store alone for 4 or 5 hours alone at a time, i came in early just about every day worked hard and then she leaves the store and instead of promting me to manager which i basically was they put a lady who never worked managment and left me to train her. Then it went down hill from there the lady left me in there alone from open to close and when i called the our hotline they turned me in and i got into trouble! GET THAT I GOT IN TROUBLE FOR BEING ALONE so i justt quit better that than lose my temper and go to jail so then i start walmart work there for a year (total hell) would you believe all the assholes that come in at 4am wanting donuts when DUH thats what time we have to be in and it would be the same people each moring i had to tell them THEY ARENT READY UNTIL 6. Well i bust my ass i learned everything in the bakery there is to know and i have trouble with this girl who doesnt know her job (i was doing it for her) and she started talking about me and well i told her i was tired of it and wanted to punch her and yeah well they fired me first offense. THEY ARE ALL ASSHOLES FUCK WALMART

I just started working for old navy... ok I understand they do bag checks at the end of the night...but when a girl walks up to me and starts PATTING ME DOWN I have a problem...I told her to get her hands off me....oh did I mention this was after she rifeled though my purse...to my understanding you are supposed to hold your bags open and then go on your way. They are not allowed to touch you are they?! I agree with the first post on this page about old navy. I too have not been trained. they threw me on the register and walked away. I HATE IT. The managment is rude and incompitent. But my concern is this whole patting me down thing. Mannnnnnnn did that piss me off. does anyone know what the hotline is...or how to get in touch with cooperate.
