Customers seem to think that coupons are like gold, and that just using one is getting them a deal.
Had a customer one time who had a coupon for %10 off the full price of $200 on a stereo. It was currently on clearance down to $120. She demanded that we change the price back to $200 just so she could get the $20 off. She was just tickled pink that she got the discount. And once again, I lost a little more faith in humanity.
