I went to the huge-ass 3 story Toys R Us store in Times Square and saw the worst Retail Hell ever. The Retail Slaves were completely overwhelmed and out numbered. It looked like a scene out of the movie 300! If I'd had memory on my camera, I would have filmed it all - toys being thrown on the floor, broken, people fighting over toys, hell spawn screaming and crying...absolute Christmas Chaos!
I don't know why they even attempted to return items, everything in the store was on the floor and custys were shopping from it.
Toy Hell.
Broken and crushed toys everywhere.
Toy-quake!
Trampled stuffed animals.
A set of custy hands about to add to the pile on the floor.
The pile of rejected misfit toys - once their prices were discovered.
Overwhelmed and abandoned register post.
Even Darth Vader would run away screaming at the sight of this.
See the couple peeking out in the pic below:
I hope to hear from them. Love to see what they shot!
Barbie world was completely under siege.
Retail Slaves trapped at their registers with hundreds in line.
Pile of rejected Barbies
Another abandoned register!
Freakishly funny though, with the random caution sign and giant Barbie standing near by.

I worked at one of the west coast stores. Seeing the way Toys R Us operates even as a holiday hire (yes you heard me I stupidly came on for the holidays there) I feel even worse for those in the New York store. None of the retail employees that work the "closing" shift get to leave until ALL of that mess is on shelves and in their proper "homes". They are an extremely heinous place to work for. And best part is, they let me go(refused to push their ridiculous credit card off on people) on my birthday!
For anyone to get a permanent position with them it's all a popularity contest/who can sucker the customer into their stupid shit! Thanks for exposing some of the piggyness that goes on there.

Go run for your lives, employees.

Holy tits, that's ridiculous.
I feel horrible for the employees that had to clean all of that up, it probably took 5+ hours.

Poor souls.

I'm surprised the employees didn't gear up and start nerf-blasting the bejeezus out of custys they saw making messes.
Of course, I guess that would have pulled them off a register...

Dear sweet Jesus-that store looks like a herd of water buffalo stampeded through it.My heart goes out to all the slaves who have to pick up after the outrageous piggy customers.Next year save yourselves some trouble, throw all the merchandise on the floor to begin with and watch the piggys fight for it.They can root through the toys with their big wet snouts and have themselves a good old time!

I just showed these pictures to my 4 year old and he said "wow mummy, that's a big mess. People are just gross." Couldn't say it any better myself.

Eek, I've been inside that store before, and knowing how massive it is makes all this mess look even more inhuman =(

Oh. My. God. What happened to the days when people respected themselves and their fellow human beings? I feel so bad for those people it just makes me want to cry. If those people don't deserve a hefty bonus (and some psychotherapy), I don't know who does.

I agree, Pharmacy_psycho.
This world is so screwed up.
