Not only does he make more than the server, but by his crude and callous actions he's ensuring that the server makes even less, increasing the disparity in some small amount.

I wouldn't ever write a note like that on a receipt, but if I did it would be more along the lines of "I make more than you so here's a hefty tip for a job well done." But then, a hefty tip really speaks for itself; no need to blunt that positive message with oneupmanship.

Deplorable. Even if the service was shitty...that is a very destructive comment. There are some seriously cruel people in this world...and I think the likes of twitterverse are to blame for the "me me me me" mentality that Americans have.

Even if he felt that way...wouldn't it make more sense to leave a HUGE tip? Way to take your position of power for granted, douchebag. I don't mean to get political here, but THIS is exactly the type of evidence why trickle-down cannot work in this country right now (or ever)...

I want to know the full story. If he felt that he received lousy service, he could simply not pay the tip or leave a constructive comment like please learn to be better server to your customers. (I did this once to my waitress but I still left her at least a $1.00 with this comment because she gave crappy service.)
