From Your Friendly Neighborhood Porn Clerk:
Ugh last night was the night of the wackdoos.
I work at an "adult shop", so we get some unique customers already, but last night truly stood out. The first thing happened while I was on break, apparently some women tried to return a vibrator because...
wait for it...
Tt didn't fit!
The best part?
She claimed it was unused.
She threw a fit when we refused to refund her. We have signs everywhere that say no refunds or exchanges on anything other than defective DVD's. It even says so on the receipt, but we all know how well custys read.
Now for the more disturbing and sad story.
There was a sketchy couple in the store. The female was originally in by herself but left to get the male who was in the car after a while to get his opinion on some stuff.
What stuck out to me was the male kept leaving the store every so often and coming back in. I was over by the door when he came back in one time and I heard the sound of a small child screaming outside.
Sometimes people will bring their kids with them and someone will stay in the car with them, or they will take turns in the store and this is fine, but I wanted to take a peek to make sure an adult was there with the kid.
I go outside and see a small toddler sitting in a car with the window open by herself. I really wish I had called the police on them looking back, instead of just making one of them go out there, but whats done is done.
Next time I'm just calling 911. This is not a safe area, people have gotten mugged and assaulted in our parking lot. Not to mention it's fucking winter outside.

Wait...wait. People take their children into an adult shop? Jesus. And yeah, good call on the cops.

@Custy,
I don't think Porn Clerk meant they bring them inside. Rather one person goes into the store and the other stays in the car with the child, or they take turns saying with the child in the car while the other goes in.
The thing in this story was that they left the child in the car alone which isn't safe.
Just bringing them along in the car doesn't really seem like a problem to me as long as they aren't old enough to realize what kind of store it is, and if they are then they're probably old enough you could go shopping while they're at school or a friend's house, something along those lines.

Someone tried to RETURN a vibrator? I would have hurled my life all over the counter. So fucking disgusting.

I wouldn't have hesitated to call the cops, I wouldn't even care if they realized I was calling the cops on them. How the fuck do you think it's safe to leave a toddler alone in a car? In the winter? To visit a sex shop no less? *head explodes*

My friend and her boyfriend took her baby with them to the sex shop, but she stayed in the car with the baby and didn't get out until her boyfriend got in. It boggles the brain that people don't have that much sense.

Yeah, cops need to be called. If you are old enough to enter and shop at a sex, you don't have the 14 year old teen mom excuses any more. They are obviously both of legal age and not new to the area. I don't mind if parents need to go top off at the sex store, seeing as they are having sex like the rest of us, but really? If not for you, someone could have easily just gone up to the car, grabbed the toddler, and run. Having to deal with the police is a hell of a lot safer than learning the hard way. Good for you, FNPC!
And yeah, unless Miss nasty somehow has like a plaster and clean copy of her package to try stuff on, we all know where that thing has been, and the idea of it is something you can't bleach out. When I taught safer sex classes back in the day, we actually had toys to be used as examples as well as how to clean things properly. Everyone touched that stuff and even though we cleaned them and that they were never used up anyone's orifices, they still got grimy and such. And that was just via hands and condoms!
