Stuck On Orange here, with a happy tale.
Twice in one week, I've visited this local joint called Lion on Lorain, with my 2 year old nephew. It's a bar, but they have great lunch specials.
Anywhooo, since it was Lent, we went for their Fish Tacos Friday. My nephew ate a whole one by himself. They gave him extra chips and a ginger ale ON THE HOUSE!
The guy at the bar answered all his questions (there were only about 100), never once ignored him.
I really appreciated that.
So, a hearty Thanks, to the barslaves there.
My nephew felt special and grown up, thanks to you.

If it's possible, leave them a little extra in the tip jar.
Great to hear a story about a great set of retail slaves and an appreciative customer. That's how the world should work. My nonexistent faith in humanity got a small bit restored.

Just out of curiosity, what country is that? Kids definitely aren't allowed in bars where I live, not even just for lunch!

A quick search says it's in Cleveland, and it's a 'bar and grill', which means it's a restaurant like Chili's or Applebee's with more booze available than normal, so kids would be allowed in but probably not allowed to sit at the bar.
