Greetings Curious Scroller,
If you've never landed in this part of cyber space before, you have taken a hard, fast plunge into the fiery depths of work hell. RHU is dedicated to giving the service worker a voice. If you are an angry customer, a corporate suite, a homophobic race-hater, and you don't like skull masks or swear words, this blog isn't for you. Click away now, before your ears bleed and your eyes explode.
I'm Freddy, Crypt Keeper of Retail Hell Underground RHU -- a place for service slaves to have a voice, tell their story, support each other, or just have a chuckle about the insanity of working in the 10th Circle of Hell! I'm also the author of "Retail Hell," the funny memoir about life as a handbag sales associate at an upscale department store! The sequel, "Return To The Big Fancy," has just been released in hardcover and e-reader and is available wherever books are sold!
That was awesome! Especially when you could hear his buddies laughing in the background the whole time. Not that I blame them.

Heh. I flew Southwest last week...at one flight, while boarding, the person scanning boarding passes sent one guy to the very back of the line for attempting to jump ahead (waaaay ahead) of his boarding group. I think she made him board last...he looked pretty sheepish. I hope he sees this and realizes he got off easy, since no one made him publicly apologize.
I love Southwest.

While what he did was wrong I think I would prefer to take off sooner and hear him stumble over his words less. It's also obvious he is only sorry he got caught.

@Skittles,
I very much doubt they actually delayed take off just for his apology. Even if the pilot were okay with it, air traffic control wouldn't be since they have to keep things moving on schedule.
Also, most of the time when children (which is what he acted like and was treated as such) are punished they're only sorry because they got caught. The point is the teach them something that will benefit them in the future. Besides, we don't know what he's thinking or what he did or didn't get out of this.
