Greetings Curious Scroller,
If you've never landed in this part of cyber space before, you have taken a hard, fast plunge into the fiery depths of work hell. RHU is dedicated to giving the service worker a voice. If you are an angry customer, a corporate suite, a homophobic race-hater, and you don't like skull masks or swear words, this blog isn't for you. Click away now, before your ears bleed and your eyes explode.
I'm Freddy, Crypt Keeper of Retail Hell Underground RHU -- a place for service slaves to have a voice, tell their story, support each other, or just have a chuckle about the insanity of working in the 10th Circle of Hell! I'm also the author of "Retail Hell," the funny memoir about life as a handbag sales associate at an upscale department store! The sequel, "Return To The Big Fancy," has just been released in hardcover and e-reader and is available wherever books are sold!
I think I'd be kind of annoyed at that, honestly. Not really appropriate behaviour.

Now if they gave discounts for common courtesy (smile, please, thank you) and left out opinion (best looking, best butt), I could go for it. It's always good to reward good behavior. I don't know that I would go around passing out tickets with all that stuff on it though. The minute you skip one in a group, someone (or all of them) is/are going to take offense and not leave you a tip. A simple "[insert generic discount here]" with a whatever amount would suffice.

If this was done to a random custy its harassment imho. Unless of course this is a regular thing for the restaurant that customers expect or this is a running joke between a particular cashier and customer.

"Best butt"?
Creepy..

I'm with the 'creepy' crowd.
I suspect it was simply a matter of an employee attempting to ingratiate themselves with a member of the appropriate sex.
And Kel? If it's a running joke between one customer and one cashier, I suspect the management might be fascinated to find out where their discounts are going. That there is an entry in the system for 'best butt' is disturbing enough on its own (there may be an open-ended field there).

@AT fully agree.
But when I see the numbers next to them it makes me think these are pre programmed discounts Which is why I wonder if this is a normal thing for this restaurants and customers come to expect it as part of their theme.
