Greetings Curious Scroller,
If you've never landed in this part of cyber space before, you have taken a hard, fast plunge into the fiery depths of work hell. RHU is dedicated to giving the service worker a voice. If you are an angry customer, a corporate suite, a homophobic race-hater, and you don't like skull masks or swear words, this blog isn't for you. Click away now, before your ears bleed and your eyes explode.
I'm Freddy, Crypt Keeper of Retail Hell Underground RHU -- a place for service slaves to have a voice, tell their story, support each other, or just have a chuckle about the insanity of working in the 10th Circle of Hell! I'm also the author of "Retail Hell," the funny memoir about life as a handbag sales associate at an upscale department store! The sequel, "Return To The Big Fancy," has just been released in hardcover and e-reader and is available wherever books are sold!
That's pretty disrespectful. Also completely irrelevant.

Agreed. I don't personally know the woman in the photo, but I'd bet that she didn't join the military and sacrifice so much just to have one of her loved ones photoshopped into a flippin' Snickers bar. :/

This was originally her hugging her daughter. This is pretty disrespectful. Not cool, guys.

Wow. What everyone above said is true. This picture is irrelevant to anything posted here and on top of that it is so disrespectful. It mocks the pain of seperation that anyone who is deployed faces. I have not deployed yet, but find out soon if I do, and I would feel so angry and embarrassed if I found a picture like this of me floating around on the Internet.

Agree 100%. Should not have been photoshopped into a Snickers bar, and is disrespectful to our troops.
As an ex-military man, I tend to get upset about anything showing disrespect to our troops. I hope something like this isn't posted again.

Why is this even on here?! Set aside for a brief moment the disrespect to the woman and her family here. Why, why, why would anyone think it at all belonged to this site? This is not /b.
Being the wife of enlisted and soon to be enlisted herself, this is disgusting.

100% agreed on all notes above but I would like to add - has nobody noticed before all the new irrelevant joke-y posts? They started within the last few months.
I understand they are meant to be light-hearted & give a break from our perspective Retail Hells. They just don't do it for me, though. Especially since they usually seem only peripherally related to the site. I find myself annoyed with the space they take up.

This is pretty funny. The whiny bitchiness over respect or lack thereof is just a little bit funnier though.

Skittles - you're a douche.
That woman risks a lot for her country. She might have seen a lot of horrible things and may on many occasions have feared that she'd never see her daughter again.
Look at the picture again. Look at the woman's expression. Look at the way she holds what should be her daughter. There's a lot of desperation there.
She deserves respect, and if it's whining and bitchy to think so and say so, then maybe you ought to take a good hard look at yourself and your values.
