From Huff Po: FREEPORT, Maine (AP) — L.L. Bean and Barclaycard U.S. are awarding $1 million to a customer as part of the Maine-based retailer's centennial celebration.
Chris McCormick, L.L. Bean's CEO, says the L.L. Bean Visa Centennial Sweepstakes was a fun way to celebrate the company's 100th anniversary. The winner is Marjorie Thompson of Cumberland, who used her L.L. Bean Visa to make a purchase at the Kimball Shop in Northeast Harbor, Maine.
Officials expressed surprise that the winner was from Maine, given that there were 220 million entries. There was also was an option for people to mail in entry forms.
All told, there were 38 winners of gifts that also included $500 gift cards, camping gear and outdoors discovery school packages.

Im not complaining but isnt it funny how these contest winners always seem to be middle class family's. That seem very comfortable already lol. Its never some single mom living in some horrible apartment with three kids or somthing. But I guess you probaly have to spend a decent abound (atleast for this one) to get your name in the drawing or something
