Here's an entertaining story of a time I worked in shoes.
Scooter (yes that's what we nicknamed her since she never picked up her feet she just scooted..we even made shirts) and I were working one together doing purge, my favorite time of year when we get to ship out all the old shit we've been looking at for months. I had done the majority of the work and had left her to handle a few boxes. I left for the night and when I came back the next day got hell from my boss.
"What the hell happened to that box, why wasn't purge done correctly?"
"What are you talking about?"
She points to a standard box of shipment that was mangled with tape. Seriously this girl taped this damn box every way but correctly. Diagonal, sideways, crossways, longways. This box was a hot tape mess.
She asked why I taped the box like that I told her that was one I left for Scooter. She berated me for a few minutes I told her "Well, if I knew I'd have to train her on how to tape a damn box I wouldn't have had her do it!"
I should've taken a picture of it. Oh, and this girl was 5 years older than me.
Who knew we needed special training for taping!

SERIOUSLY?!
I knew how to tape a box when I was 8 years old. How can this worker have botched such a *simple* task?

Is this lady handicapped at all? Maybe she doesn't have the cognitive awareness to understand simple tasks like that?

Not handicapped, seemed fairly sane which I soon found out was quite the opposite. She really was one of those people you HAD to babysit and look over and/or redo her work. This is definitely not the first story I'll post about scooter...but as soon as I saw that mangled box of tape I realized scooter was officially the biggest dumbass I had ever encountered.
