For Two-Faced: at least you found your mistake and fixed it. I don't know who put Bi-Polar Serum in her coffee, though.
For Paper Lady: working retail and with coupons has taught me to always ask the slave behind the register how things will be rung up, and how coupons will change things. Most slaves will be happy to help you find the best deal for your situation because it makes their job easier. She could have asked. Bet you would have told her which deal was better. Always ask the slave. Whether they genuinely want to help you, or whether they want to stick it to the store by saving you money, they will generally give the right answer.

I know exactly how you feel, I used to work at michaels, and even though my managers werent bad until the end, the customers were fucking asinine! Now I work at mcdonalds and my customers there are more rational than michaels! The only thing you can do is smile and nod.

Regarding Paper Lady: I would have made PushoverMOD do the return herself. Then in the later conversation said "So you thought the best way to make her happy was to give her free stuff?"

Have to admit, getting free stuff is a good way to make someone happy. Not good for the STORE, but at least she was happy. 9_9
