Crusty/Discount Rat: *hands me a 2 foot long gummy snake* How much is this? It should be a dollar right?
Canadia: I'm not sure let me scan it. *scans it* It's 1.25.
Crusty: Where I got them the sign said they were a dollar.
Canadia: Ok let me call someone up so I can send them to take a look.
Canadia: *over intercom* (Coworker) to the front please for a price check.
Coworker: Whats up?
Canadia: I'm looking for the gummy snakes there's supposedly over there.
Coworker: Ok. *Sees them hung up at the end of the aisle.* They say 1.25.
Crusty: *Goes around the side* I got them from here.
She's standing at the little walkway where we carry chocolate coins and suckers. A Piggy decided to take a few gummy snakes and put them there instead.
Crusty: *coming back* They should still be a dollar they were in the wrong place but it says a dollar on top.
At this exact moment I notice something interesting.
Canadia: Miss it says on the top here that it's 1.25.
On the top where it says the name of the item is the price CLEARLY marked on it. It's actually part of the packaging not a sticker either so I show her.
Crusty: *Condescending* Ok whatever I'll take it this time, but according to blahblahblah (Some Canadian law about sales) It should be a dollar cause I found it under where its marked as a dollar.
Uh...no...you found it where someone left them in the wrong place.
