Now, I thought I had finally freed myself of the brainless mass of zombies when I punched my last retail time card. No more crusties screaming about how I've ruined their holiday because they decided to wait until the last minute to shop. No more, "What do you mean you're out?!?!" of said mega clearance item on the last day of the sale.
In fact, little to no interaction with people at all! I was in heaven, just me and the charts...life was good. But then it happened, we went electronic so no more charts. But this was still good news for me as I now did more data collecting and tracking but now I had to talk to people more when they wanted copies of blood work or such.
Cue the CRUSTIES!!!!!!! As the start of school looms ahead I now have to deal with parents calling demanding copies of immunizations and PE's so their little crotch fruit can start school the next day.
I get to sigh in frustration when they yell after I tell them their sweet child has not had a Physical Exam since last year, and this is not accepted for school. Or they never had the last provider send over the immunizations so the new provider cannot fill out the school form.
But my all time FAVORITE was an office call asking for the immunization record for a child that they had requested two flipping years ago, and they desperately needed them for Wednesday.... You sent the request two years ago(before my time), and NEVER CALLED TO FOLLOW UP!?!?! And now, you have the damn balls to think I can wave a magic wand and get said records from storage like poof.
Now, I'm sorry this child may not be able to start school, I feel bad I really do, but you call Friday after 3 thinking I am able to get a hold of the doctor who is ON HER DAMN VACATION to see if she can find the chart....
I really feel bad for the kid because he's got a dumb ass flake of a parent who probably the same one shopping on Christmas eve or running in 5 minutes to closing for "a few things". >_<
