Overheard in the break room: a customer said he was going to bring his gun to our store. Why? To prove we had the bullets for his gun.
I'm curious as to what part of the conversation he had with my coworker led him to believe we had his ammunition but were holding out on him. I can only assume my coworker told him we don't carry guns and bullets, because we don't, but he apparently kept insisting we did until it got to that point.
Coworker finally managed to convince him we don't have his bullets by telling him it was because we had a church next door. Apparently, he used all sorts of lovely language about the church that would almost certainly reserve him a spot in hell if he didn't already have one.
