Been wracking my brain trying to figure out a good story to post here and I finally decided on one.
Back in 2008 I worked at a store that had a separate stock room for the electronics department, which is the department I was assigned to. It was padlocked and only I and the other electronics associates/managers had keys for it.
One day I was standing behind the counter, cleaning the glass display cabinets, when I hear a loud pounding from behind me. I turn around, and this huge guy is attempting to kick in the stock room door.
I yelled "HEY!" at him, and he stopped and turned around to look at me. He stared for a moment, so I asked him "What are you doing??"
And his response was; "Oh, I thought this was the bathroom."
Yes, the padlocked door in electronics. Totally a bathroom.
After he casually left the department I went to check the door and he had managed to bust it open, the lock hinge was completely torn off the frame and hanging. We had to guard the door for the rest of the week until someone could come out and fix it.
