I went to Fry's last night. They have FIVE mobility shopping carts. Four were parked at the front.
I was going to take the one that I could get to the easiest with my dog, but I noticed something. NONE of them were plugged in. NONE!
So how are they supposed to maintain power if no one plugs them back in? I always try to plug them back in unless they are just plain parked so badly I can't.
I was busy plugging the first one in, and a guy rolls up in the fifth, "You can use this one."
"Thanks. I just wanted to be sure that these would have power for the next people."
The guy looked at me like I was nuts. I grabbed his cart when I was done, did my shopping and then tried to back in the 5th cart. It wouldn't fit The security guard happened to walk up, and he said he parks them but he forgets to plug them in.
I told him it's because he doesn't use one. He said he'd make sure it got plugged in and asked me if I plugged in the others. Wonder how he guessed?
