So today I had a call in order, went along normally, and got it packed up.
The person I talked to on the phone was obviously an adult, but a little while later, a little girl who couldn't have been more than 6 came up to the counter asking for the order.
Now, this sweetheart was very polite, and while she was waiting, she browsed our shelves quietly but she was so small she needed two hands to hold the change I gave her.
But the entire time I was there, there was no adult accompanying her and she waited long enough (since food's made to order) that if I was her mother who sent her in by herself (wouldn't even do that to begin with), I'd come in looking for her.
It's a good thing that my customers are very nice people in general so I didn't all out fear for her safety but still...
