This didn't happen to me but happened to a friend. But I thought you guys would like to hear about it.
You know those coupons that companies send out if you write a complaint letter? It's usually for a replacement items. Like when you write a company and say that their product failed to live up to expectations, and they send you a voucher to get another one.
So this guy came in the other day and had 30 boxes of candy. The cashier rings them up then the guy hands her 1 original voucher for a free box of candy and then 29 photo copies of said voucher! And he really expected to get all 30 boxes for free!
The cashier explained that she could do one for free, but he would have to buy the rest. And as we all know--he got belligerent with her and demanded to speak with a manger... Who told him the same thing.
From what I heard he left in a huff, threatening a lawsuit. I swear, people are just plain stupid.
