Retail Hell Underground: RHU Pet Peeve: Refusing To Believe, Even When The Request Is Rediculous

« Not In Bullseye, But In Other Stores... Yes. Many Times | Main | Nah, I Just Flap My Arms Really Hard In The Stairwell »

Ack, I hate when customers do that.

My favorite is when a customer asks if you have something in stock. When they ask me, usually it's conveniently RIGHT after I finished stocking the coolers or overstock, so I know we're out.

Two seconds later, they're asking the other person on shift with me. "Twink, can you go look!"

No! Because I was just back there and being out for five minutes isn't magically gonna make it there! Why do customers insist we're lying to them? =.=

Perhaps they experienced Many Times that someone lies because of lazyness or to hide a hotseller.
Or they judge from their own behaviour.
