Speaking of changes, any word whether the 'recent posts' will come back? I miss that.

Former Electronic Article Surveillance Girl, turned into Office Slave

Just my two cents...

I've been readind RHU for maybe four (??) years now and thoroughly enjoyed it. Recently, however, I've felt a little overwhelmed by the sheer amount of posts. I go away for a week and can't even read all the new stuff. Simultaneously, conversation seems to have died down almost completely (I don't follow the FB group though, so maybe it's moved there - but that isn't the same as anonymous commenting, really, as the safety factor is lost). I find that's too bad, as I used to enjoy the conversations as much as the stories, but I wonder if it has to do with the amount and/or character of the posts (ie. more stuff but less personal stuff).

This is just my opinion, but I wouldn't mind you guys cutting the amount of reblogging and concentrating on the original stuff (which is what "makes" RHU, really). I for one wouldn't mind seeing less stuff if most of it was original stories (I generally just skim-read the other stuff anyway). I feel RHU has lost some of the "personal touch" that I used to love.

If that isn't possible, how about at least adding an Original Posts category, so that those mostly interested in the original stuff, like myself, could browse them more easily?

The "small stories" sound fun, although just a tiny bit scary (as in, "whoopsee, I wonder what I wrote in the comments a few years back"... :D )

Thanks to all the RHU team for all these years + wishing you a great 2014!

I agree; that's one of the things I used the 'recent comments' for. When there's a lot of stuff, conversations tend to get pushed off. Hard to see what's new when you have to go through 20 pages to get to something you commented on...
