Dealing with different sleep patterns is tough. Melatonin supplements help my husband when he has to do shift work.


This is why I don't go to bed until 4 or 5 in the morning. I work mostly second shift (3-1130pm, 2-1030pm, or 130-10pm depending on who I work with), but occassionly, I get scheduled for a third shift (10pm-630am) when neither of the regular third shifters can come in. Going to be at 4 or 5am and getting up an hour and a half before my scheduled shift makes it easier to change my sleep schedule.
