Sorry if this is long I'm just... UGHHH.
So we unfortunately have bike horns for sale, and everyone of course feels the need to squeak them...
ugh, bad enough right?
Some damn kid was squeaking it for 5-20 minutes (I couldn't tell you exactly because it felt like hours).
Finally stops. Thank god. Or so I thought. I'm trying to sweep up as its about half and hour to close and this woman, significant other and kid walk by me and by our frame counter and says, "They shouldn't choose to sell those bike horns if they don't want kids to play with them, they don't have to be rude about it."
I was kinda struck like, "Uhhh what?"
I kept on sweeping till our frame manager came up to me she had heard what the woman said too. She asked me if I had said anything to her (she didn't think I did she was just as confused as I was really).
I told her no I hadn't unless the woman was a mind reader. She said she hadn't either, we knew the lady running the cash wouldn't, so the only person we could see saying anything was our closing manager but we were still 99% sure she didn't.
So Number one problem I had with her statement, do you really think I woke up called Corperate and said you know what I'd love? An irritating ass item that people will need to touch ALL the time ALL day! So, NO, lady I did not CHOOSE to sell them.
Number two, as much as we all we're thinking 'hey dumbass control your crotch fruit,' none of us would say anything because really? Is she worth the fight? No.
We ended up asking our manager if she had said anything to her and she said she hadn't so our best guess is that another customer had told them to knock that shit off, and they assumed they worked there or two her significant other is a dirty liar.
Also note they did not buy the bike horn, why? Oh I dunno, probably because its annoying as hell. Our Frame Manager said it best, if its going to be annoying at your house why wouldn't it be here?
Another note as the lady was saying how rude "we" were, she lets her crotch fruit drop his damn ball, that he had taken from somewhere on the other side of the store, in the middle of an isle and left it there. We're not rude, you are!
UGHHH (Again it wasn't even any of my coworkers that had said anything to her but another customer!) Rant over.
