From Daily Mail:
Photos show the destruction caused by tourists at a Korean airport after they dumped piles of duty free shopping bags in the departure lounge.
Apparently, Jeju International Airport has been facing increasing numbers of Chinese tourists discarding trash on the floor of its departure gates.
Koreaboo reported this week that the issue mainly takes place at the international gates along with the transfer buses.
The trash consists mainly of carrier bags and plastic materials from duty free.
Many people cut down the packaging to consolidate their bags into one after picking up their duty free items at the departure gate.
Airport officials say that not all Chinese tourists do this but it usually occurs when a large group turns up to the terminal.
The departure waiting area is small and so the area quickly builds up with rubbish.
This isn't the first case at the airport.
It was reported in November that the issue was becoming more frequent.
