Well, that'd traumatise any kid who took their bear's jumper off. Unless they're hiding a bit about the details of the bottom of the sweater.

I am betting that the bottom was attached as well as the top clearly was. If that is the case then they clearly meant for it to remain all the way on indefinitely, so this isn't a fail.
