The punctuation looks fine to me. However, "Average" should have a lowercase A and and maybe she should've put what's being consumed between "more" and "than;" i.e. "The average North American consumes more finger sandwiches than 400 Africans."

On an unrelated note, glad that I figured out a way to make comments again. Used to login with my Twitter account but it kept saying something about a missing token from this website.
