Because stabbing yourself repeatedly with tiny needles and bleeding makes you look younger.

They're supposed to "tighten the skin". They don't penetrate far enough to draw blood if you use them properly.

yeah, my thought was there are S&M toys out there much like that.... sure, it's like those "massagers" for sore muscles and to keep your skin taunt, yeah, that's it :P
