Don't think it's engrish/awkward asian specifically, as I can see a bunch of similar things like this online. Annoyingly enough, none of them seem to have any description as to if they are referring to bowel movements or not.

When I was in Beijing, China for work a few years ago, there was a T-Shirt I was looking at that said "I (heart) B J". Until I explained it to my guide what B J was in English, she just thought it was short for Bei Jing. Before I told her, she said I should buy the shirt for a friend's teen daughter, after she agreed that would not be appropriate and will never recommend that shirt again.
Something tells me the B M is the shortened version of some city.
