From Self Scan Queen

My department is currently overstaffed AND cutting hours, because our fucktard of a store manager doesn't know how to manage a store.

He let a few people transfer from the other store in town because their front end manager wasn't hired from within the company, and so doesn't know how to do anything. They hate her so much that they willing to commute to a different store just to avoid her, so I'm not blaming them for moving, but with a manager unable to juggle or balance, this kinda fucked us over.

He hired ten additional people, going over our department manager's head. He ALSO knew there would be six or seven students coming back from uni (myself included), who have worked there for years and are actually a really efficient group who can do their jobs.

Then he tells us to cut hours, which I'm pretty incensed about. Just that alone would piss me off, but that on top of everything else listed above, and it cranks me up to eleven.

Everyone is clamouring for any hours as they can get, so if someone calls out sick, it's like a piranha swarm trying to fill the spot.
