Spring Store Window Wonders: Artsy Harvey Nichols
From Retail Design World:
Department store Harvey Nichols has collaborated with London-based artists Hsiao-Chi and Kimiya Tsai-Yoshikawa on vibrant spring window displays, in conjunction with VM specialist Global Display.
The campaign comes ten years after the parties first worked together. In celebration of the joys of the season, the display features ten of the original fixtures from the ‘Futuristic Flowers’ design that was used in the store in 2007.
More than 100 boldly-coloured aluminium cut-outs were fabricated by Global Display and then hand-bent into three dimensional organic forms. These were then hung from multi-coloured metal chains. Each window at the store features a unique piece of art.
