I work at a home/design store and we get some of the nicest customers. My favorite so far was this little old lady (LOL) who came in a few weeks ago. While I was packaging up some of her glass items, she noticed my engagement ring.

LOL: Oh, your ring is so beautiful! It just catches the light so nicely!

Me: Thanks! I think it's beautiful too, but I might be a little biased.

LOL: Oh, not at all. So pretty.

Me: Yeah, he did a pretty great job picking it out.

LOL: Honey, he did a pretty great job picking YOU out!

Of course I immediately went red in the face and started laughing. My ring is pretty simple because we're both broke college students, so I don't typically get many compliments on it (even though I absolutely love it and always will). She was just the sweetest thing and I was smiling about it for the rest of the day!
