The Entitlement Complex: I Shouldn't Have To wait My Turn!
And Somebody Approved This

Dumbass Customers: Lady can’t just tell me the shoe size

From u/purplemonkey55 Tales From Retail:

I work at a bowing alley. By far the most annoying aspect of it is giving out shoes. People never know the right shoe size, especially men with their kids/grandkids, and I always have to give people shoes 2 or 3 times because they never fit. It’s gotten to the point where if I think someone is just guessing I’ll ask them to take off their shoe and check.

So today this lady comes in with a bunch of little kids.

Me: “Ok you’re all set, just need shoe sizes”

Lady: “Oh ummmm, do you have toddler shoes?”

Me: “Yes we do, what size?”

Lady: <stares blankly at me for a few seconds> “...toddler size”

Me: “Right, I understand that. But what toddler size are they?”

Lady: “Well ummmm.... their feet are VERY small.”

Me: “Yes, I know that. I need to know the actual size please, how about you take off their shoes and check?”

Lady: “Ooooohhhhh ok.” <checks> “Alright, their sizes are xyz”

It was just so weird to me that shoe sizes seemed like this alien concept to her.
